Euthanasia: we can live without it

In other words, people who are not terminally ill are terminally ill.

If the whole euthanasia and assisted suicide question turns on autonomy and self-determination, as it does, why wouldn't we celebrate these deaths?

Why is it then that those supporting euthanasia and assisted suicide seem so confident that their supposed safeguards will work?

The question of money is an ever-present element in euthanasia talk.

How a decision of caucus to proceed can be seen as being separate from the wheels of government is beyond me.

Hiding the essence of the program in sacarine sweet euphemisms and then denying any relationship at all to the actual outcome is contemptuous of the New South Wales Parliament and the good people of that state.
